The legitimate activities of a nation state may be threatened by activities such as illegal immigration, smuggling and illegal fishing. In these circumstances it is important to be able to monitor all vessel activity and to control enforcement assets, such as customs and coastguard vessels, to ensure that threats to national sovereignty are reduced and that illegal incursions are prevented.
There are many components technologies that can contribute to a nations successful operation of its EEZ, and interface with its Coastal Surveillance System (CSS), through the selection of suitable sensors and secure data and communication links.
These include, but are not restricted to:
AIS
VTMS
Sonar
Radar
Long range EOS Surveillance
Port & Harbour Surveillance
Coastal Surveillance
Offshore Platform protection
All of the technologies can be integrated to a Command and Control Centre, together with existing installations, and made available the appropriate Government Agencies. Many of the technologies used here can equally be incorporate to other Homeland and Border surveillance needs.
BDL Group achieve this through combining the expertise from strategic partnerships, thus enabling complete turnkey solutions to be supplied.
